Michigan State University - East Lansing, Michigan
Shelby and I have known each other for several years now. We have counseled at the same summer camp for years together. Due to COVID-19, our week of camp was canceled for this year, so it was a blessing that I was able to take her graduation portraits and see her outside of camp.
We had a gorgeous early April day for Shelby's session, and I couldn't have asked for better weather. We were comfortable and not freezing. There was no wind, and the sun was shining. And, because Shelby decided to move to Tennessee to pursue further education at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga a little earlier than originally planned, we had a lot of the must have spartan graduation spots to ourselves, which was so fun! We started at the famous Breslin Center, and ended at Beaumont Tower - two classic spots for every spartan!
Shelby, I wish you the best of luck in Tennessee, and may God bless your adventures and education. I know you will do great things, and go green!
Here are a few of my absolute favorites from our session on the grounds of Michigan State University. If you're interested in booking your own graduation or senior session, click here. Enjoy this sneak peek!
How gorgeous do her eyes look paired with this spartan green? 😍
Shelby's grandpa hand wrote out the coordinates to Sparty, and Shelby got it tattooed on her arm as a memento to him - which I thought was so sweet and was so happy to photograph. This was such a special image for me to capture.
Shelby also had a bottle of champagne saved from her parent's wedding - it was the perfect occasion to pop it open!
Cheers to you Spartans, class of 2020! Even though your senior year got cut short, you will still achieve great things. Go green!
