Zehr Farm & Apple Orchard - St. Johns, Michigan
You may have seen Sarah on my blog before in my fall family mini session post from November, and it won't be the last time you see her, as she's about to be a senior herself!
Since she's technically not a senior yet, we can't count these as her "senior" portraits, but we were able to use these as practice. Sarah is my little sister, so this session was unique. We are lucky enough to be able to call this apple orchard part of our homestead, and I was so happy when it was finally sunny and warm enough to use the blossoms as the perfect background for portraits. Normally I would offer family or sweetheart mini sessions among the apple blossoms, but due to COVID-19, and in accordance with our state's shelter in place order, I decided it was best to hold off on this until next year. But don't worry friends, these sessions will be back!
Sarah was my very first ever model, so she knows my poses, but as time goes on, my poses evolve, and I still got to direct her like this was an actual senior session. I was so excited to see the perfect glow on the blossoms, and I knew this would be a beautiful location. And of course, myself and our puppy decided to join in for a few as well 😉
Enjoy these glowy apple blossom pre-senior portraits, and remember to keep your heads up friends. We'll soon be able to go back to the life that we once knew. For now, know that I am booking senior sessions. Class of 2021, you may not know exactly how your senior year will look yet, but you can start it in a normal way! Senior portraits are the perfect way to get you excited for your senior year, and you can book them by clicking here!
