Miguel and Annie had the most beautiful day to celebrate their love. Lately we've been having a lot of cold and rainy days here in Michigan, but the day that Annie and Miguel tied the knot was completely opposite of that. It was warm and sunny all day long, and it set the perfect tone for a beautiful day filled with love.
For this particular day, I was second shooting for Niya Blaboa Photography, a sweet photographer who was kind enough to take me under her wing and teach me the ropes of wedding photography. I learned a lot from her, and I was so pleased with how my images from the day turned out. It also helped that we had the sweetest couple and funniest wedding party! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Annie and Miguel's big day. Congratulations you two, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
The groomsmen and ushers were already ready when we arrived, so they spent their pre-ceremony time decorating the get away vehicle, and they certainly seemed to have a good time, although it really worried me that they would get paint on their nice tuxes and shiny shoes!
They insisted that we get the classic slow-mo walking photo!
Annie insisted that Miguel not see her or her dress before the ceremony, but she wanted to make sure they prayed together before the festivities began, so this was the solution. They couldn't see each other, but they could feel each other and the anticipation that the other was feeling in that moment. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment, it made me tear up!
Miguel's face when he finally saw his bride for the first time!
The whole family, from both sides, prayed over the bride and groom before they went on to get married. Another very sweet moment that I adored from Miguel and Annie's big day.
I LOVE how Miguel was looking at his beautiful bride in this photo. All the heart eyes!
In their vows, Miguel and Annie promised to always dance together in the kitchen, so they had to practice some of their dance moves for us!
We stopped on the way to the reception for a few fun photos!
The night was finished out with dancing and toasts, a beautiful end to a beautiful day. Congratulations Annie and Miguel!
