Brenden and Ashley had their first date at a 4-H fair tractor pull, and it only seemed fitting when they asked if we could wander the fair grounds for their engagement pictures.
Although it may seem daunting at first, your engagement session is really just a time for you two to be in the moment together, and forget about me, the photographer even being there, and it seemed like Brenden and Ashley were able to do that. The three of us (and their smile-making supporters) walked around the quiet fairgrounds (that won't be quiet much longer! In just three short weeks, the stalls and barns will be filled with all sorts of four legged creatures), reminiscing on what high school was like, and how we all looked forward to going to the fair every summer. the main attraction in our small farm town each year.
Their beautiful country wedding was soon to follow, so we talked about their excitement for the big day, and I can't wait to share it! For now, please enjoy my favorites from their joyous engagement session.
They were both wearing their rings, so I had the perfect opportunity to practice the ring shots! Who knew the swine barn railing would have made such a perfect backdrop?
